Acceptable Use Policy

Sparrow provides its services on behalf of your employer (our customer). We trust that you will use our services in an acceptable manner, including abiding by the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Purpose

We strive to maintain a safe and collaborative environment and to ensure our team is able to provide optimal leave support to you and our customers. In furtherance of that mission, Sparrow prohibits certain conduct by customer employees.

Sparrow may update this policy from time to time in its sole discretion.

Prohibited Conduct

Sparrow will not tolerate the following from customers or their employees using Sparrow services:

  • Threats of Violence or Harm: Any behavior that threatens or promotes violence or harm against anyone directly or indirectly.
  • Hateful behavior: Any action that constitutes or promotes hatred against people based on characteristics like race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, medical condition, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity or any other legally protected characteristic.
  • Harassment & Bullying: Bullying, threatening, mocking, or shaming someone or using derogatory language, racial slurs, or obscenities.
  • Other Abusive Behavior: Any other abusive behavior of any kind or for any reason or any uninvited or otherwise inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to any conduct that is deceptive, fraudulent, inaccurate, infringing, or otherwise violates any law or right of Sparrow, its users, or any third party, including privacy rights, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to take appropriate action in response to violations of this policy, which could include notifying your employer and suspending or terminating access to your Sparrow account.
